This temple is exquisite! Absolutely gorgeous and the spirit is so powerful here. Across the street there is a temple entrance center that you can shower and change your clothes and a waiting center for children where you can wait with young children. So convenient! Great time to go is afternoon when it gets especially hot and muggy outside and the kids want to be in air conditioning.

The temple is gorgeous, a piece of history you can visit. The town of Nauvoo is full of historical landmarks about the history of the Mormon church. The temple sits on a hill overlooking the water and all of the people I interacted with were friendly and approachable.

Beautiful inside and out. Such a peaceful and inviting spirit about the building. This is one of the most beautiful Temples Ive visited and I recommend that should you have the time and inclination that you too visit ponder and pray nearby and if able inside, you will find insight and inspiration.
