At a time like this with the situation Fox Point Manor has been faced with since March to try and put into words is next to impossible !But I have a lot to say and I hope other family members will share how the staff at Fox Point Manor has helped get the loved ones on the outside and inside through this time of isolation There is no way to understand being told that we can no longer see our spouse, mother, father , sister, brother , grandparents it seems unreal and as we have all learned this has been an unreal life situation I have to say the guidance given by Jodi and all of our extended family (staff) was hard to comprehend but with the faith we have in them and the overall world situation our gratitude for the quick action taken to isolate for the health of those family members we treasure has been shown to be a blessing as all of the residents of FPM have stayed well and the staff has stayed wellIf you heard any of the news during this time we all know that the elderly especially in extended health care homes have been lost in large numbers Several in the area very close to FPMTwo were actually residences that I had viewed and considered Every single caregiver at FPM is making a huge sacrifice to give extra time and care to our loved ones and taking away from their own families I know that many family members have donated food and Easter baskets and little pick me ups for the staff to show appreciation but I do not know how our families will EVER repay and show gratitude enough for the care, love , patience (which I cant even imagine)Not to mention all of the guidelines they stuck with to keep them safe and well when the whole time they and us as well have struggled with the separations from our loved ones FaceTime. Phone Calls. Pictures. Daily activities Mothers Day Parade ... Which in my heart was one ofThe most touching times in my life if not the most actually .... I watch the video and am so sad BUT more so grateful !Our family members are still with us because our FPM family cares that much Please know the care our family members are getting now is the care they receive each and every day, so the thanks to our FPM family is not evident in just this crisis time but everyday our loved ones are with them I cannot express enough how thankful , blessed, amazed and forever grateful our family is ....But we will find a way , I hope all families feel this way Thank you all ... you are forever in our hearts

My mother was at your facility (Fox Point in Mchenry IL) for 4 months, and I would like to commend and acknowledge the fine staff for the outstanding care given to her. The atmosphere, warmth, and attention was exceptional. Once she got accustomed to her surroundings she was extremely happy. Thank you for all the extra time you gave her when she first got there, my family and I really appreciate your care.
