I work there up until March 2019 when the new executive director took over from the previous one and she is completely clueless on whats going on. She doesnt care about the employees and in fact she hired the office managers boyfriend to take over a friend of mines job who was probably the best maintenance person that ever work there. This new maintenance guy is clueless on his job because he was a Oil changer and tire changer at a well-known oil and lube place. All he does is work on his truck all day and upset the residence just like the executive director does. Do not go work there morale is completely down since the new executive director took over

As a Firefighter in this community I can say that the Staff at Brookstone Estates in Mattoon at both North and South take 100% pride in giving the highest quality of care to their residents. To them, residents come first. From a Clean environment to Great food, residents are able to feel at home. Personnel are always on call in case of an emergency and will act at the first notice. If you are looking for a great Rewarding home for your loved one, I highly recommend speaking with the Staff at Brookstone Estates.
