Dont believe all the marketing about their excellent care and compassion. You have to block that out. They are a business, first and foremost. If you do not have the funds to cover 2 years of residency and nursing care here, look somewhere else. Even if it is backed up by additional family members. They will reject you. I want to save somebody from wasting their time

The below is my FB post today. We fought against all the antipsychotics that our Dad was fed. We were the rebel family who asked them to stop with those meds we knew were creating the very conditions they were trying to prevent. Blindsided after two weeks when Dr Abassian sent him to Bolingbrook psy ward to spend 8-10 days there to get fixed. Our family was not even notified by the social worker that within days after he was discharged and not allowed to return. We only found this out through the social worker from Bolingbrook psy. THREE weeks later our Dad was discharged from Bolingbrook fixed With limited facilities that would accept him due to his discharge from Mother Teresa Home. And where did he go? Lemont rehab where he spent another 8 days under Dr. Abassians care. Not fixed and now with more antipsychotics added to his regime. Had we not fought for our Dad he would be living out his life in a long term care with the rest who dont have advocates. We took him home to continue his rehab. Within 2 days of being off of all their meds he returned to the Dad we knew 10 weeks ago. They ruined him...we fixed him. Do not believe everything they tell you. Never would I allowHim or anyone I love to be treated at this facility again. This is what happens to our elderly when they are overmedicated and placed in homes and psy wards with disturbing labels that medical professionals want you to believe. Permanent Brain damage...Advanced Dementia... One week later and this is what our Dad looks like today after living for 10 weeks in places that wanted us to buy into their beliefs. I post this only to prove that you do not have to believe everything that you are told...that you have a voice for those that dont. We knew all along that he was still in there. So thankful that he has no recollection of the worst 10 weeks of his/our lives. Never give up in what you believe...challenge even those who think they know. So proud of my family. (I wish you could see the two pics I posted. They speak volumes)

Very high turnover. This place need new management. There is favoritism and drama, and the work schedule is very unfair.
