No one would show up, and they would not be able to find anyone to fill in. They have no back up system. Some visiting Angels, if you dont show up, everyone is called, including the owner. This franchise does not work like that. They dont know that somebody has not shown up unless they happen to look and see if they didnt show up. Puts a lot of people at risk because a lot of people cannot stay by themselves, and the worker cannot leave. So, you have people with families and children who are in need of getting home, but also dont want to be responsible if they leave the clients and something happens. And Visiting Angels. does not care, they dont say oh I will send somebody right out or Ill be out, they just say sorry everybody called off this weekend. Theres nothing we can do. Leave until the replacement gets there. Theres nothing we can do So please everyone, be wary. Because the girl we thought was wonderful, didnt show up twice and didnt bother to call us. And being the manager, I was forced to come in and work the shifts even though I had major plans going that day. I only have two days off a week, and in the last two months its been very few because they do not hire responsible and or reliable people. So please everyone, be wary. Visiting Angels helped to take care of my Dad before he passed. He was a diabetic with dementia. He was a difficult man to deal with because of the advanced nature of his disease. The care givers that worked with my dad were very patient with him.

I work for Visiting Angels for almost 2 years now. They are a good company to work for they treat their employees with respect. I have been sent to many of places and have worked with many of amazing people. The office staff have gone above and beyond to work with me on my physical problems that I have. I love this company. If you want to set your own hours and meet some amazing people this is the place for you. Tara (the manager at Edwardsville location) is a amazing person she has a whole lot of compassion and heart. I truly enjoy working for this company. I give it 5 stars out of 5 just a great place to work.

I used this service when I had surgery this year. Im in my early 30s and have two little ones and no family in this area and dont want to have a friend take off work. I couldnt have been happier. I was picked up timely and the lady waited during my surgery and afterwards took me home. She then got my meds at the pharmacy and brought them back to me made sure I had anything I needed before she left. Very professional and highly recommend to anyone 18+ that needs additional help even just for a day.

They visited and were angels that went above and beyond the call of duty in my time of need. I truly am appreciative of them.
