I have lived here for 20 years and it was the best thing I ever did was moving here after my husband died and I was alone! Everyone really tries to make your life easier!

My Time working here was Extremely Stressful. After my first 90 days, I Learned you either please the residents or they will complain about you until your fired even if they don't like you they will see that your fired and Administration will investigate but ultimately take their side. So there is a lot of sucking up because of money obviously. 90 days more I learned they make promises of moving up if they want you too perfect attendance or not. They'll probably use your 2-week notice to change your status against you and fire you. Better yet they fire for every little thing even if you can't help the situation you'll be fired. The D.O.N Christina said herself Im trying to get it to where people don't call off and basically you have to be dying, hospitalized or have a death in the family before I approve a call off. THAT'S VERY INSENSITIVE. the attendance sheet is so confusing I don't think Meridian employers understand it themselves but staff are afraid of Administration at Meridian to do anything or say anything beneficial. Yes, they pay very well but that kind of money has a Price. The atmosphere at Meridian is survival of the fittest. Tenesha Harris & Christina has made that very clear. Not a place I would recommend to work and the hiring process is 30 days before you actually, start working for LSS in general. However, LSS in St.louis are better.
