These nurses are completely incompetent in the dementia area. I cannot speak for the other part of the nursing home but please do not send your loved ones to the dementia unit nurses are completely ignorant and uncaring.

Throughout the Covid-19 time, I couldnt have been more pleased with how they handled these circumstances. The communication was exceptional despite the circumstances and its a shame that the media is so focused on the negative versus the good they are doing at that community. When someone moves to a nursing home, its not just a facility. Its a family. The love and compassion, the team expressed has gone unnoticed. My heart breaks for the team and I cant believe there are now lawsuits being filed. How can someone file a lawsuit for developing Covid-19? It is everywhere and the entire world is impacted by this. It is a shame and I hope people all come together versus trying to place blame.

Great rehab, great rehab, great rehab. Everyone is so friendly. Patti is awesome. She is the administrator and is always available. We loved that. We recommend Bria of Geneva.

After an assisted fall for my mother who has Parkinson's, needed sub acute care so we did some research and picked Bria. We made a HUGE mistake. The staff is NOT attentive to residents needs. As I sit here waiting for my mother to be discharged, a patient just asked to be taken to the dining room for lunch and the nurse said 'Sorry hun, not right now' leaving this person to literally snail step in a wheelchair to the dining room. My mother was not provided a shower after 5 days of care. Today she had waste in her diaper from the afternoon before. She had food debris all over her chest, when we changed her for home. The smell was overwhelming making us want to take mom home and scrub her for days. We arrived to visit on several days to find that no meds were given and nurses providing meds late saying 'we are catching up' regularly. Mother was left in a shirt no bottoms for 20+ hours. She would press the button and would wait almost 2 hours for response from staff. Attended PT where staff therapist walked her down the hall and back to her room. OT was good, hands on and funny often making mom laugh but not worth it for only 30 minutes a day. This facility is totally outdated, with equipment that is not like anything I've seen because it is so old - mother should have been sit to stand and they refused only giving her hoyer.Mother was laying in bed crying because of the lack of care. Never got her out of bed after therapy. They left her in bed from lunchtime on EVERY DAY even after we asked for them not to do this. They did less than the bare minimum. We were so totally dissatisfied that we requested she be allowed to leave and did so AMA. Please do not send your loves one here. I will never refer anyone here. This was a heartbreaking experience. Upon arrival at home, we gave her a bath and found sores all over her stomach and under her breasts due to not being cleaned and left sitting without being wiped down properly.

So happy they have Marianjoy guiding the therapy team. Dr. Mclemore is the best. The other doctors are top notch too. There always seemed to be a doctor around. We appreciated that. The therapy is what separates them from the rest
