Way Above Expectations! We brought my Mom to the Atrium at Oak Crest just a few weeks ago and we have been impressed by the facility, the food and the staff. The resident rooms are well kept and much larger than similar facilities. Common spaces show the rich history and charm of Oak Crest. The food is very good. We have had lunch onsite twice and were amazed at the quality. Most importantly the staff has been amazing. My mom who had withdrawn from almost all social activities is now participating and having fun. And the staff has been fantastic. Caring, friendly and helpful all the time.

When I went to visit a while back from my understanding they had Bed Bugs in the building. Not many staff around either which was very alarming. Just one single person seems to be incharge of a group of people and no other staff are seen interacting with the residents. Some staff are very friendly while others arent, while talking to a few of the residents they made it known they were bored of the same old thing, I met a few staff during my first visit, when I went back after a while I was informed that some where no longer working there anymore. Its a beautiful building, but the care isnt what you would expect. Im not sure how the place is running now but I do hope it got better.
