I have worked with Effingham Rehabilitation and Health Care for years and the staff are wonderful to work with. The home provides excellent care and have staff that care about the residents.

Hopefully they will not be able to take my review down like they did before. That just shows how terrible of a place this is. I would give it a zero if I could. Most of the nurses are rude, let patients walk around smelling of their own urine, let them sit their feces for hours and spend most of the night on their phones or talking. Must be a last stop for nurses needing a job. I experienced the place with a friend and the health department was called in when they were there and the entire place had to be cleaned because it was so dirty. Typical for a Petersen Health center.
