Super disappointed in the 'rehab' that was offered. Making my mother sit in a chair all day, instead of allowing her to get up and walk caused her to regress, not progress. When I called the nursing staff to check in on her status, I was told 'we will have to get back to you'. Clearly they didn't have any idea of her status. She had pain meds scheduled PRN (meaning as needed) but yet they would only give it to her at THEIR scheduled med times, which was not when my mom needed them. Super disappointed all the way around. Before you send your loved one here, be sure to ask hard questions FIRST...like 'will my loved one ever be allowed to walk on their own?' (the answer is NO!) ' Will my loved one get their pain meds when needed?' (the answer is NO..only at scheduled 7pm med delivery time). Will my loved one get to shower more than twice a week? (NO!) Can a family member come in and shower your loved one? (The answer is NO!) You see, we didn't know to ask these kinds of questions until after she was there. You can bet we won't make that mistake twice. They blame all their care on 'liability' and 'state laws'. Whatever......
