I used to work for the company who owned these. Mary and her staff is very good at what they do. In an industry that has way too much turnover this staff has a lot of people who have been there 10+ years. They specialize in difficult dementia residents. The facility is small and homelike. It is always clean and the residents are too. I have zero issues referring people to Lily and Syringa.

Recently my husband spent the final month of his life at Syringa. I am so thankful we found this place. He was not an easy person to care for. At first he was combative and then he required constant help. They showered him with loving care when he was a nuisance and when he was bedridden. Our family was lucky enough to stay with him for a few days before he passed away. The staff took care of him with such gentleness. And took care of us with that same gentleness. He was kicked out of another facility because of his behavior. Mary White, the director at Lily and Syringa didn't hesitate to invite him in. When we talked about his behavior, she told me it wasn't a problem, that was how Alzheimer's patients behaved. The staff made sure he was clean, and fed, and that he took his medication, even if they had to trick him! That made such a difference in his behavior! It was only a month, but the entire staff at Lily and Syringa treated him and our family like royalty. I am forever indebted to them. This is the place to take your loved ones!

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!Dad has Alzheimers and has a hard time staying out of other peoples rooms. He has been kicked out of 2 other facilities because of interactions with staff over the wandering. Thank God we found Mary and Lily and Syringa. He has only been there a few days and he is already doing better than he has in the past 6 months. They are so good to interact with him and to make everything positive. The staff are great and welcoming. The facility is clean and well kept. The food is beyond compare with the other two facilities he was in and he is doing wonderful! PLEASE talk to Mary before placing your loved one anyplace else.

After three months of in home and hospice care from Hands of Hope and family members, we were unable to care for our Dad in his home environment. We had to make the difficult decision to looked at facilities in the area to place him in. We as a family felt most impressed with Lilly and Syringa. They have two homes sitting side by side with a shared yard and patio between & behind the buildings. This gives it a homey feeling. Residence can sit around a single dining table, and in a main room to watch television together. Since Lilly and Syringa is overseen by the same qualified administrator as Hand of Hope Health Care, our transfer to the care center was seamless and easeful. Dads care continued with the same fine CNAs and nurses that were already seeing him, and we feel deeply grateful for their impeccable care. As I sat with my Dad for hours in Lilly and Syringa, they did everything to be sure that I and my daughter felt at home and were comfortable. This care center goes the extra mile to create an atmosphere that creates dignity and qualified compassionate care for the people living there. Thank you for making a difficult situation as comfortable as possible. Our family will be forever grateful.
