Sacred Heart Church Pahoa

I was shocked to see a party of high school kids in the parking lot during the pandemic 90% with no mask. I called the church and the man who answered the phone said they just showed up, and he wouldnt do anything ,I called the police, they refused to enforce the law unless someone from the church called, I called the church back to go out and at least ask the large number of people people in the parking lot to put on masks , or call the police,the woman who answered the phone said she worked for the police, she said even if they came they would ask if the church had asked them to leave, and that they didnt feel like doing that, and they are leaving soon anyway, I hope and pray for the sake of our community our elders and disabled, that some Pahoa high school kid didnt come in contact with a Main lander or that family in Hilo that recently got the virus, I pray for our community, I pray for our doctors and nurses, and I am saddened that all the sacrifices we have All made in the last months might have been wasted. Its regrettable that the police wouldnt act , and that the woman who answered the second call who worked for the police wouldnt act. I think its a good time to ask what Jesus would have done.

Old location is under 50+feet of lava. But the church is still around

Historical burial site. Most notable was a child barely born long enough to live.Hes buried very close to the church. Peaceful area to visit
