The food is very delicious. The pies and goodies are fabulous! The lilikoi lemonade is yummy! The cashier was not very friendly, but still probably the best place for a meal in the area.

What a find! Talk about a small town Hawaii experience! This 1930s era diner has been incredibly maintained... check out this original ceiling that gives away the design era. Cool breeze flowed through. The team was super friendly and helpful. The roast pork was perfect, fresh salad, great Arnold Palmer. The big burger was! And was deliciously prepared, just right!, local grain fed beef (could have been a little more generous with garnish). Surprisingly affordable too, it hardly deserves the $$ - IGNORE the expensive comments. We were on our way from South Point to Volcano and this was the perfect stop between.

Hana Hou is the most southern restaurant in the US. Very tasty food, exceptionally tasty desserts. Highly recommend!
