I fly Alaska frequently. I have never been this dissatisfied with an airport. We had to check our bags which I have carried onto every other Alaska flight I have been on. I would have done luggage differently if I knew I had to check a bag. It would be one thing if everyone had to check cher carry one, but I saw plenty of people with larger carry one than ours and she let them through. If your going to be strict on the rules be strict with everyone. Limited electrical outlets in the waiting area. Bathrooms across from waiting area were tiny and dirty. Horrible end to a good trip.

Great service for family and fur family. Let us know when animals were loaded on each flight. Met us at baggage claim to return to us. Would use them again.

We fly Alaska all the time. We just completed our bucket list trip around the world. Most of the trip was courtesy of Alaska miles. I must have 50 plus trips to the mainland, compliments of Alaska! My only recommendation is that the local Alaska team get Alaska flight benefits. People are either included on the team or they are not! Rose took excellent care of us today. She always makes us feel welcome.

So boarding in first class, HNL-LAX. I asked the flight attendant if she minded if I tossed my macadamia nut wrapper. Acting frustrated by this endeavor. She said, 'Hang on!', She made a dramatic turn to her left, opened a small cabinet, grabbed a rubber glove out, dramatically struggled to put it on, holding up the line of boarding passengers... She finally gets it on 45 seconds later, and grabs the neatly folded macadamia nut wrapper and dramatically turns to put it in the trash. As I sit down I hear her complaining about how a friend of hers she recommended as a flight attendant wasn't hired by Alaska Airlines. This continues for 5 minutes instead of greeting the passengers. Completely rude and unprofessional.

Service started great and flight went well until we landed and then their true incompetence was revealed. Land on time and then sit for about an hour because another plane was running late so they got our spot at the gate and we get punished. We paid for first class and it was my sons first time flying ever. They obviously had lots of time to coordinate options but chose to punish us even though our plane was on time. If your plane is late you can wait. Thats how it works when I go anywhere with an appointment. No compensation was offered either. Then on the trip back they had to turn around in the air due to mechanical issues and made everyone sit in airport for hours til they cancelled flight and we couldnt get our baggage so we had to go to a crummy hotel with no bags and a toddler. Then they rebooked us at midnight without our permission even after I called and spoke with them several times. Then we go to get our bags which several people told us would we be held at the airport but no. They rebooked is and sent our bags to Portland without our permission after I told at least three of their employees to cancel our tickets and hold our bags. I will be using Hawaiian airlines in the future.

Being a Gold mvp member I would expect to be treated slightly better but Abby at the kiosk was beyond rude when I asked about an upgrade to first class. She informed me that there were none avaible, however an hour later she made an announcement that there were 11 available 1st class seats. I went back to the counter to get an upgrade, she again told me that there weren't any available. She continued to offer free upgrades to another lady. Abby out of Hanalulu should be fired.

Never ever been pampered in coach as we were on this plane. Still waiting for the landing bump or thud or, in some cases bang, a week later. Howd the pilot do that. Land so smooth it was incredible. Modern layout. We WILL fly with this airlines again !

The smoothest and most comfortable planes in the air. It's tough getting a Virgin flight out of Honolulu but I always try them first.
