Considering this place? DONT DO IT! I would not send my worst enemy there. My mother-in-law was there. Horrible treatment!! After two weeks she was worse than when she went in. Staff is rude and hateful. She was laying on her back when they brought food and would not raise her up. She had a wound on her backside that was pre-existing and healing. They let it get worse and it abcessed. So much more!!

TERRIBLE FACILITY THAT TREATS THEIR RESIDENTS AWFUL! If you have any love at all for your loved ones do not send them here! All staff besides one or two are filled with hatred and attitude. A simple request is answered with screaming and refusal to do even the tiniest request. Food is terrible, no flavor. I have witnessed in person the blatant disrespect towards the patients. Sometimes takes over an hour after request just to get them to the bathroom. YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. Im truly disgusted.

The name Christian City certainly should not be the name of this facility. It should be something like Profile City. This is more befitting. My father was at the facility for approximately three months. He first was in the Assisted Living area, Sparks Inn. It worked fine for about six weeks and then it went terribly bad. Because of his disease, Lewy Body Dementia, he began to get more and more agitated. Since there are few educated staff members. I would get calls at all hours of the day and night to handle his behavior episodes. This was very difficult, since I live in North Carolina. The next step would be to send him to an emergency room. He was sent so many times I actually lost count. With each time his health suffered a little more.He began to wander so it was decided to place him in the Memory Care Unit on the second floor. He was sent out to an emergency room three times in a 96 hours period prior to this happening. I arrived the afternoon he was brought back to this facility to see him lying on the second floor picking at the carpet. He was so tranquilized, he could stand up. His tongue was so swollen he could not speak and his eyes were closed shut. I tried to pick him up and was yelled at by a nurse named Robyn. She said they were not allowed to pick him upfield to his size. She called EMT to help. At the same time this was happening Debra, head nurse, was telling my wife he would never be allowed to stay on this floor. He was too big and did not belong there. I truly do not understand any of this at all. We waited a short period of time and help arrived. Debra came over to me and demanded my wife and I stayed 24/7 or provide a sitter for my father. That was interesting since we were already paying a lot of money for his care. A sitter would be an additional $20.00 an hour. My father did not have that kind of money. She also stated we needed to be finding another facility for him to live. She then proceeded to go back to her office, which had window blinds down every time I was there. Not sure what her role is. My wife and I had a meeting with the main administrator and Debra to discuss these events. It did not solve anything. He is a nice guy, but needs to look a little deeper into what is actually going on at that facility.I believe the approach that was taken, while he was on the second floor, was to keep sending him out to the emergency room anytime he looked cross eyed. Because that is exactly what happen. The last time he was awakened to send him out. It happened on the week-end. The individual was talking to me around 2:30AM and said he probably would been OK if she had not woke him up. She initially called at 12:30 AM to ask me how to handle him? I once again I could believe the lack of training at this facility. Totally incomprehensible. This is when my wife and I knew it was time to move him away from there and we did. I could cite many more examples of horrible approaches to his care and name many more names, including the individual who payment is sent to. I now plan to forget about this place. My father passed away peacefully at a facility with trained staff. Not only are they trained, but are compassionate, caring and loving to all their patients. It is a shame it took me so long to find this place. Christian City looks for demure, docile individuals while even in the Memory Care unit require little assistance. This is so the staff can watch TV and use their phones. There is one amazing person at this facility and her name is Beth Campbell. She is truly an earth angel. I would put her in charge. She could hire appropriate staff who have training and above all else have love, compassion for allWho reside there.

For the most part the staff is terrible they could care less for the patients Most patients arent able to do for themselves and there treated as such The administration talks in circles they have stolen property from me Would never recommend this place if there was something Lower than one star I would give itBeware they say this is the best rehab if this is then God bless us all
