Rising Star Personal Care Home

Amazing facility. Price is extremely competitive and staff are wonderful. I would recommend this to anybody looking into an Assisted Living.

I don't think this is a good retirement home I recently saw a old man bleeding crawling from a ditch, and we asked where he was coming from and he said from the interstate which is really far, I was confused on how they let and old man that walks with a crane walk alll alone on the street. He wasn't stable at all something easily could've happened to him..and then we asked where he was headed so we could walk him home then he said rising star which wasn't up far ahead so we decided to walk him and we tried to call 911 to help with his injures but then he started to panic saying no no please don't and we kept asking are you safe in there? And he said I'd rather talk about the weather... which made me think what are they doing to him in there so we waited a few minutes after he went in and went in after him and asked where did the man go that just walked in bleeding. And they gave us the dryest answer ever'he's in the back' they also told us not to worry about it cause he bleeds when he gets to much sun light... which is false he had open scab wounds on his face. They literally shoved the door closed after we steeped out, We later called 911,as soon as dispatch came the lady started yelling at us saying come here then asked why we call the police and started yelling ,which scared me .. we talked to police and told him what happened and he told us he was gonna check it out. but it literally broke my heart to see the old man so scared to go in inside of his own hkme where he was suppose to be safe. I do not recommend rising star . No old man should have to walk alone let alone on a busy road/highway.
