I have worked at Summer Breeze for 5 years but have been involved with SB for 10 years. Prior to my employment with them, every time I visited I knew there was something special about Summer Breeze. It felt like home, residents were happy & it always smelled like something delicious was baking in the oven. When the opportunity came to work there, I was thrilled. My 87 year old father lives there and his room is not kept clean, they don't bathe or change his clothes regularly, and they haven't given him his heart medicine as prescribed by his doctor. When I told the director Patty Dixon about these problems she told me that my expectations were to high. I am currently looking for a more professional nursing home that cares for the people that live there unlike this assisted living warehouse that cares more for there compensation than caring for their patients.

These residents are loved and cared for by the absolute BEST in the business. They are happy, healthy, and engaged. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting. It feels like HOME here.
