In July 2019 it became necessary for my wife (Glenda) and I to locate an assisted living facility for my sister (Dorothy Joy Valiant - Smith). Joy suffered from advanced dementia and was no longer capable of living on her own. With the assistance of 'A Place for Mom' we located Heather House and quickly determined this would be the best location for Joy. Franca Orewa and her team were extremely cooperative and supportive during the transition. Sadly Joy passed in February 2020, but the care and attention provided by Franca and her team was outstanding. Everyone displayed sincere compassion and caring for all the residents. My wife and I highly recommend this facility for anyone requiring an assisted living location.

The Heather House has been a true blessing for me. I needed a place where I could move my mom to and feel comfortable with leaving her there. They have given her great care there. And I can call her and see her anytime I want. Would recommend them.

Heather House is marvelous! I moved my mom from Houston 3 years ago and this is the first place she has been happy. She is handicapped with medical issues and receives the best of care. The staff is friendly and caring and provide nourishing meals along with laundry and a clean environment. All the other residents seem very happy and friendly as well, giving my mom some social connections. This place has transformed our lives. We love it!

Heather House is such a blessing to my mother & to our family!!! The excellent & loving care that she recieves here is wonderful! We had moved her 4 times in 5 years before finding Heather House last spring. She has responded so well to the care of the loving & attentive staff that we feel like we got our mother back! It is such a relief to us to know that she is content & lovingly cared for! We are so grateful!

This caring community has been a gift from God to us for our Mom. We have moved our Mom 4 times over 5 years. On our 4th move we finally landed at home at Heather House. The environment here is like a real home, not an institution with a revolving door staff. The caregiver/resident ratio is wonderful, and each caregiver is there daily (and overnight), which means our Mom doesn't have to meet strangers every day. It is apparent the caregivers are called to this ministry, and they treat our Mom with love and care as if she were a family member. They have actually become her friends and her community. Our Mom has been at Heather House Roswell for over a year now, and we are so thankful that we finally feel secure that she is loved and well-cared for by a nurturing, competent team of wonderful women.
