EVERYTIME I go and visit something is wrong with the kitchen and menu's!!! I feel really sorry for the residents that have no family come to visit and check up on their wellbeing!! EVERY meal time whoever brings the trays to the room seem to NEVER double check the menu's to make sure the trays are correct!! EVERYTHING that has been typed up and supposed to be on the meal trays is NEVER correct! Why even have menu's for the guest to fill out when NO ONE checks them!?? Does Summerhill even have inspectors that check or just pop in without prior notice?? Maybe they should come and see what really goes on in this place. Just my thoughts and frustrations!! If you have a family member in Summerhill I would check on them often to see if they are really even being fed. I know for a fact my family member had not eaten for almost 24 hours!!! If she starves to death there will be a lawsuit!!! Think twice and read the reviews before placing a loved one in Summerhill!! Everything would be ok if they just did what they were supposed to do!!

Seems like a decent place so far my mother is here for rehab but I may have it out with Ms. Linda in the cafeteria. Her attitude in the establishment is unacceptable. Glad she's not a nurse.

My mother stayed here for 2 weeks of rehab and toward the end of her rehab I gave her an 80th birthday present which was subsequently stolen from her room. Management only spoke of a blame game, blaming everybody that could have done it and not their staff. My mother 2 days after that went to the ICU with sepsis and kidney failure and subsequently passed away. To those thinking of taking a loved one here I would advise against it. Their absolute lack of ethics and character in their staff and mgmt is a big no no in my book. I would give anything to get that gift back as that was the last time I'd see my mother alive.

Wonderful experience for my father in law! Staff is amazing . Treat you like family
