Assisted living facility is understaffed, which is reflected by the poor care, sub par food and the demeanor of the staff.

During the years my mother has been in assisted living at Somerby, there has often been a problem with the late response of staff when she calls for things such as meds being given at the times doctor has prescribed. When we joined her for lunch, we often had to wait a long time to be seated and staff ignored us after receiving our meals. Quality of meals worsened over time. It seems Somerby needs more staff to assist those who pay a lot to live there (which is why it's called assisted living).
