I work here the staff is amazing the owners and administrators are awesome and all that are here is like a family atmosphere warm and welcoming

They took a group of seniors to Ingles today and left one of them behind. Thankfully I was able to help the woman get back before she tried finding her way back herself on such a cold, windy day. When I took her inside they hadn't even realized that she was missing. She could have died if she had wondered off and gotten lost in that weather.

This note is in response to Kristen's post last week. My mom was the lady you picked up outside Ingles. Our family wishes to thank you so much for taking her back to Brasstown Manor. In this day and age, we need more caring people to step up. I would also like to add that Mom lives in the independent side of Brasstown - she does all her own cooking, she does her own laundry and ironing (believe it or not!!), she cleans her own apartment and she is on only 1 prescription medication. She and her friends are on those vans multiple times a week - going to church, going too Walmart and Ingles, going to concerts and restaurants, sometimes they just drive around the lake and have a picnic somewhere. To the best of my knowledge, leaving someone behind has never happened before. when i spoke with her about 30 minutes after she returned to Brasstown, she was not scared or upset, but was mainly concerned that she did not get your name. Her groceries were on the van; but she had gone back inside Ingles to get stamps. After the van got to Brasstown and the other 8 or so residents and their groceries were unloaded - which probably took about 5-10 minutes - mom's groceries were left and they then did realize she wasn't on the van at which point the two of you arrived. Mom loves living there and we are still very confident and confortable with them and remain very grateful for Brasstown's service. All their employees have a consistent caring attitude toward residents. It was an unfortunate oversight that thankfully ended well. Thank you again.

Lovely staff and employees! You can tell that the people who work there really love and care about their senior living community, and they work very hard to create fun and social events for their residents.
