My Mom entered their care in 2014. She'd been in a private pay facility previously for several years. However, her spend down drove her to a Medicaid facility. It was the best thing to happen to her. She has dementia. The nurses and staff noted that immediately. They helped us get her to physicians to treat that dementia. She's improved dramatically. The paranoia is gone, a lot of the repetitive 'bad memories' she used to talk about have gone away. Nurses at a major hospital remarked on how well she was socialized, and how happy she was. They even said it was a sign of remarkable care.
