Safe Haven at Brookhaven

Beautiful facility, super clean. Staff are all well trained in multiple areas including Alzheimers/Dementia.Very attentive to the residents care and needs all day and all night. Staff are all hard working yet kind and patient as if they were caring for their own loved one. Highly recommend Safe Haven.

Nice staff, nice home

My mother had been a resident at Safe Haven at Brookhaven for over 2 and years before passing away; she had lived at several other assisted living and nursing homes for 4 years beforehand. Safe Haven was by far the best facility she had lived at over the years. The staff is highly qualified, kind and compassionate and very responsive to resident and family needs. In addition, the facility itself is a real home on a residential street so there is not an institutional feel, and it is always kept clean. My mother, who had entered Safe Haven very weak and in poor health, would not have lived as long as she did without the outstanding care provided at Safe Haven: the lead caregiver, Detra, with her quick thinking and skill, saved my mothers life several times. In addition, the facility manager, Alla, was always available to help out when needed. I feel lucky to have found Safe Haven for my mother and highly recommend it to anyone with a family member who needs caregiver assistance!
