Silverleaf Memory Care Of Athens

My mom was there and got excellent care. Staff is always friendly.Facility is always clean. Administrator is always kind and truly cares about your loved one. Would highly recommend.

Most AWFUL place to work at I would never ever go back .

If I could give it negative stars I would!!!!These people are horrible to their residents, when my grandmother went into this facility she could walk and feed herself. By the time she came out of it she was confined to a wheelchair and had to be spoon fed by us.When we would go to visit her she would have mysterious wounds and bruises on her person that took almost a month or more to heal; because the dressings wouldn't be changed like they should have been.Once when visiting the home my mother saw one of the aides smack a resident for no good reason other than maybe the aide was having a bad day; which is so inappropriate to do towards anyone let alone a defenseless person.If I had the numbers to some of the families that still have their elders in this house of horrors I would call them and share my family's personal experience with them.I can say that once we moved my grandmother from the 'tender mercies' of this place she did get a bit better, though she will never be able to walk again.

Both of my parents are at Silverleaf and receive excellent care.
