My wife and I are entertainers for seniors in communities all over Metro Atlanta. We've been doing this for the last 12 years so we've been to dozens of communities and met hundreds of residents and activity directors. In 2019 we had the pleasure of singing at Overlook at Cedarcrest for their family Thanksgiving luncheon. Walking in the door we were wowed by the beautiful greatroom with its' soaring ceiling, huge fireplace and beautiful furnishings. It felt like we were at a vacation lodge. As the residents came in, the staff patiently and gently helped them find their seats and it was heartwarming to see so many family guests joining them. The food was delicious and the conversation was lively. Congratulations to the staff and to Activity Director Alicia Ayre who clearly loves her job and the residents and who was in charge of this beautiful event.

The staff at Overlook are very caring and attentive to the residents' needs. Alicia has been working especially hard to get residents involved in the many activities offered and happy to say, with much success! Thank you Eric, Becky, and to all of the hard-working, loving, and friendly staff.

I am glad to see they have a new quality activity director. Alicia Ayre really cares about residents and engages them with her dancing singing and laughter when I come to play the piano. She works hard to provide all the little special touches. It's a hard job and she makes it look easy!.

My wife was in the Memory Care Unit for a years and a half. The Overlook staff took such wonderful care of her and gave her so much love that I wished to give something back. Accordingly, I have provided musical entertainment during lunch for the residents since my wife's death as a way of saying, 'Thank you.' I was pleased to see that Overlook received five stars in its latest public health inspection. The living conditions are fine, but the love that the staff gives makes Overlook at Cedarcrest outstanding.
