I have a friend, an elderly ex-neighbor That resides here and whom I visit weekly. Every time I walk in the place is so clean, it smells good the staff is always friendly and smiling they always speak to me. I love my friend and I love the staff for taking such good care of her. I appreciate the dedication and level of care that is given, as does my friend.

My father had been living in Angels Senior Living in New Tampa for 1 year and 8 months. I am very upset because the care in that facility was unacceptable and not at all caring or even what I was helping to pay for. My father's room and bathroom were never cleaned. They would not wash or change his bedding unless I pushed and asked. Upon moving him out of the old facility, the family that I had available to assist in the move noted that the room reeked of urine and other foul smells, as if he was left neglected and unattended to by the staff. It had looked as if the last time it was cleaned was when I, myself came in and cleaned the room when he moved in. Even to see the house doctor I had to take multiple steps for hours at a time to get anything done. Contacting the administrators was outright impossible, as no one was ever available as they were always in meetings for seemingly days at a time.I moved my father out of that location and over to another Assisted Living Facility. When I returned the key for his old room to the Angels' facility, I specifically asked the receptionist if there was anything further that I needed to take care of, such as documentation of his transfer. I was informed at that point in time that everything was taken care of and I had nothing else left to do. No release paperwork was completed nor was his medication transferred to the new facility, or even released to me to take to the new facility. As a result of this negligence, I had to temporarily remove my father from the new assisted living facility as he had gone 2 days without his medication and was suffering from debilitating medical issues, forcing me to bring him to Hospital in order for him to receive proper treatment. This was further compounded by Angels staff absolute refusal to see me for multiple hours to assist me and release my father medicine.

This place is amazing. The staff is super attentive to my moms needs. Beth has been an amazing walking us through the process from the very beginning. Shes helped with this very hard transition and has continued to have patience with all of us. I would recommend this place to everyone.
