nice facility with good people

My father has been to several other facilities who claim to be 4 and 5 stars. We have found that either the care or the staff to be under par. A friend of Dad's suggested Palm garden, and we cannot understand why its not rated a 5 star on Google. His CNA gave showers instead of making reasons why he cannot have it that day. His therapist, I think was Amy, was so great with him and Dad is not one who enjoys exercise. The upbeat music made me want to work out. Thank you to the entire staff for making this stressful situation much better.

Mother is there for rehabilitation after breaking arm & knee. She has gone through this before and has always had problems getting proper medication and proper care. I am so pleased that we chose your facilility this time. Thanks to Judy who took the time to go over everything with us. I now can rest assured that she is in good hands!. Also, Diana called us before my mom was even admitted asking about my mom's likes and dislikes so her stay would be more comfortable! I've never had a rehab facility care about that. Art, the physical therapist took time to meet me and go over her recovery plan. I highly recommend Palm Gardens if you want to sleep at night knowing your loved one is in good hands.

The two stars are for the two decent people we met. My grandma was only there for 1 night and half a day and was forgotten about for all 3 meals. Attitude in regards to bedpans. Lady across the hall begging to be taken to the bathroom. They wet the corner of a towel with COLD water for her to wash her face, really couldnt let it warm up for a sec. She didnt have access to all her medications (most importantly they wouldnt let her finish her ANTIBIOTICS) and had to fight to keep her bottle of hand sanitizer with her while shes immunocompromised on chemotherapy. Not happy with the way they treat their patients.
