I wish that I could give zero stars. I would never recommend this place to anyone working or living. The place is constantly dirty and the staff is also disrespectful and rude to there own and to the residents it makes me sick. To personally see how they treat the residents breaks my heart. I blame management and also who they are hiring because you can obviously tell that they dont care. Ive had plenty of people ask me would I recommend this place and my answer will always be NO.

I have lived at the Fountains for 10 years and have nothing but good service and great experiences. Even now with staying in place due to the virus, we are being so well cared for and protected. I cannot give enough. praise and gratitude to Suzanne Burtzlaff, her Staff, Directors and all Associates who are working tirelessly to keep us safe.

My mother is a resident in Independent Living and her experience here has been a blessing and close to perfect. The staff is helpful and kind. The activities and amenities are amazing. She has made friends, paints, quilts, loves the transportation to local shops and the many outings. She has the perfect blend of independence, socializing and help. I have been beyond impressed with the community's COVID response as well. My father was at 3 different facilities and none were even close to the positive experience at the Fountains. And the view is unbeatable! Thank you to the Fountains Team :)

My friend lives there, as an Independent Living Resident. Not a bad place, though I think she's too young to have chosen a somewhat controlled living environment. She was content there and I even considered it for myself in years down the road. ALL changed with the arrival of 'the VIRUS' ..If you value your freedom, and believe a similar unexpected phase could happen again someday, do NOT move there. This is May 9th 2020 and I have not been able to see my friend for close to 2 months already. I'm not allowed in, she's not allowed to leave the premises, period! While I now enjoy trips to the beach and have never stopped going shopping for my own groceries, my friend can't do either.A few weeks ago, the independent living residents, who are treated like children and/or prisoners, were put in total isolation for even the slightest violation, for 7 days. With time that was changed to 10 days and if you choose to leave for a nonessential reason NOW, upon return you will have to endure 14 days of not being able to step outside your unit. No change in sight for at least 3 more weeks and the future is uncertain after that. Residents are discouraged to interact with each other and all events have been suspended. Everything that was good in that place, has been shut down. A dreadfully lonely and sad day for all mothers there tomorrow -- Mother's Day. I have contacted other Independent Living communities and residents elsewhere don't have remotely been robbed of their freedom like the people at The Fountains. Reasonable common sense precautions are a foreign concept to the management there.
