Prepare a list of questions for visits to homes. Poorly managed facilities directors and staff wont like your questioning their practices. This defensiveness should be a warning to you. Let them know that you know that most AL facilities dont deliver on the promises they make, are poorly managed and trained, and provide limited individual care. Explain your desire for your family member, and listen carefully to what they say and dont say. Finally, Dont use brokers. They are selling something, and will feed you a lot of nothing. Google the homes, then call for an appointment and personal visit. Interview someone at every functional position, sit in on the entertainment, games, PT, and social hours. Sit with residents and get into every detail. And listen carefully. Taste the food at every meal.My review of TFOH was clipped to allow only this last paragraph. Avoid this place. Their potential will not be realized. They believe theyre as good as they can be. An admission of failure.

I have been an employee for 11momths I love working here I started off on 3/11 I needed to change my schedule and mrs. Nadine never hesitate to help me out with changing I love my co workers and most importantly I love my residents I have gotten to know each and every one of them ( mostly) this has been a great experience working here

The staff is one big family and are there to show so much love and compassion for our residents. We are definitely here for families too !! Ive only been here for a few weeks. As a person who truly loves the elderly and has been to and worked in multiple facilities, I can honestly say I love working here. The residents, my co workers, and the staff are all so great! We work as a team and put the residents first.
