The Fountains At Lake Pointe Woods

Sharing this poem from two of our residents, who wrote this poem during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are so grateful to have such wonderful residents and fantastic staff!Dear Fountains Staff:There may be times we moan and fuss,But know that you are there for us.Housekeeping staff, you scrub and sprayTo keep Covid 19 far away.Your dedication does inspire usAs you purge that nasty virus.We laud the folks behind the sceneWho keep our sheets and towels clean.At Community Life there's Lexie and Michelle.They do their best to entertain us well.First, it's 'Moving with Mike;' then 'Energize.'Next, a scavenger hunt to win a prize.There's Peggy and Daniel, Frensis and Dave,Dawn, Lorraine; you all warrant a rave.You've kept that virus away from our door.We owe you our thanks and much, much more.We thought we'd name you, one and allBut our rhyming abilities just hit a stall.So administration, maintenance, folks at the gate,Too many of you to enumerate.So to any of you we did not name,We apologize and thank you all just the same.If you think we forgot our concierges, that's just not true.If you can come up with anything to rhyme with 'concierge' our hats are off to you.Our thanks to you all,Sue & Howard

As soon as my husband and I moved into the Fountains at Lake Pointe Woods we knew that it was a 'people place'. We were welcomed immediately by residents and staff alike. Now, three years later, we have a wonderful group of friends, plenty of activities to choose from, outstanding meals and a staff dedicated to making our lives as senior citizens easy and pleasant. From housekeeping to maintenance, dining to activities, The Fountains is first rate. This became especially clear during Hurricane Irma in 2017 and Covid-19 this year. Management put procedures in place to keep us safe and comfortable, constantly communicating with us and working diligently to create ways to keep us busy and well cared for. Our decision to live here is one of the best decisions we have made during our 67 years of marriage.

Although I won't be living at The Fountains for another week I appreciate the thought and care expressed by staff for my safety during possible storm. They advised me that a room would be at my disposal if I needed to find more secure shelter . Thank you ,Fountains Staff, for making me feel like you are family!

Caring staff, beautiful campus. They have gone above and beyond protecting residents during COVID-19. Food is great also!

Horrible place that is going further downhill. Anyone of quality working there is either fired or quits. Food is worse than army slop. This is prime example of taking advantage of the elderly!
