This was the worst company Ive ever been in. They have no respect for the employees. The super visors, and ED are the most ungrateful and degrading people to work for.

The facility itself is attractive and has a variety of areas where a diverse group of people can find ways to be occupied all day. My wife and I enjoy a beautiful apartment that is spacious and comfortable. In spite of the large number of residents it is quiet and private. We feel very secure here. There is a wide range of exercise classes, educational classes, great library, and entertainment throughout the week that pleases all. The residents are made up of people from all walks of life who blend together very well. Making new friends is very easy here. The services provided by housekeeping, laundry, maintenance are super. Transportation provided has made giving up my car easier and less fearful than I had anticipated. The care staff is always ready to help and are kind and gentle. The dining experience here is fulfilling and meets a variety of different tastes. The transition to Atria from an independent home has been great! Resident, Joe and Mary Mason

We just moved a family member into Atria in mid-August, and what wonderful experience it was and continues to be. We are as impressed with the staff, programming, food and overall facility now as we were then, and firmly believe that our family member will thrive there. Granted its been less than two months, but all signs are positive and were all happy that we chose Atria Sarasota (after reviewing and visiting no fewer than three other ALF properties).

My mother lives here and is very happy. She was in tears when we moved her in- against her wishes to remain independent - but her face lit up when she saw her apartment. With her own furnishings and a view of the lake, she is very comfortable and at home. If asked, she will tell you she is 'very happy'. Other residents have reported the same in informal chats. The apartment is sunny, has a dining room and kitchen ( 2 bedroom, 2 bath) and she has entertained here, hosted bridge games, etc. Other residents are well-dressed, upscale, and sociable (for the most part, a bit of snobbery about bridge acumen!).
