Reporting this place. Haven't spoken to my father in 3 days. Rehab REFUSES to pick up , other center won't help with the communication , NOT SYMPATHETIC AT ALL AFTER THE FIRST WEEK. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.*Update*Nancy Levy is amazing. I appreciate Nick and her reaching out and making it right with us.

My mother lives there. Staff have access to her apartment and even large Knick knacks and possessions have been stolen. Management is aware, and while they acknowledge that electronic locks would help deter theft, they are unwilling to address the situation. Consider this if thinking about this facility as you would be vulnerable to such rampant theft.

Rampant theft. My mother had no more jewelry left and anything else of value had been stolen from her apartment. She is not the only one who has had so many things missing. The management is aware of the situation and does absolutely nothing. How terrible for my mother to have to spent her remaining years going through every closet before going to sleep with a hammer in her hand as a weapon. The management needs to address this issue, not simply dismiss it as an old persons failing memory, not remembering where they put their belongings! There are thieves with master keys to every apartment!

My mom is a resident in assisted living at the Court. This has been a good move for her. Although she had been doing well on her own in a nearby condo community, after a year during which a number of her friends passed away, she seemed increasingly isolated and inactive. After a health incident left her needing a bit of care for a brief time, the move has provided a sense of structure, safety, and greater socialization for her. (My mom just turned 95, and on my last visit, I could barely keep up with her.) She has connected with several interesting people and has gotten engaged in a number of healthy and interesting activities. I have found the staff to be consistently caring, conscientious, and kind, not just to my mom and the other residents (some of whom would have tried my patience!!), but to guests and visitors as well. The food is pretty good as institutional food good, and I've seen an effort to respond to residents' requests and make improvements in quality and variety. The dining room staff is excellent. This was a hard decision, but it was a good one. I know my mom misses her old place at times, but I love knowing that she has greater social contact and engagement, and a staff that keeps an eye out for her. I live across the country and for my own peace of mind alone, was well worth the move.

My mother is 97, she moved to Palm Aire. Pompano Beach in Jan. of 2016, from living in her own condo. I and my brother and mother experienced only good from the staff of Palm Aire. From the introducing tour, through her transition from AL to SNF, every worker, from the whole spectrum of staff had a good word and or smile for mom. The activities are well planned and the residents get individual attention if needed during activities and meal time. During Covid 19 times she was respectfully told that she must stay in her room and staff explained the reasons for such, My daily phone calls answered her questions and comforted her. She is being treated very well, considering this uncontrollable act of nature. I don't think MOM could be at a better facility. Thank you Palm Aire.
