Homestead Village Retirement Community

Homestead village has taken care of countless of my clients and they have even took care of my grandmother at the end of her life. I recommend them often to families in need of an assisted living or memory care place to call home

I would never allow another family member to live here. The previous reviews were obviously written by people with financial ties to the assisted living facility. I know for a fact that the staff are severely underpaid (according to my mother who was a previous resident). My mother's jewelry was stolen while she was dying of a heart attack in the dining room. I could never find out exactly what happened that evening. I was told by one of the lower-level employees that my mother was not even given CPR. The upper-level management of the facility was extremely resistant to giving me any information. There is supposed to be a nurse at the facility 24/7, but no sign of her that night. There should be cameras in the dining room, social room, hallways, etc. in order to provide full transparency in events like this. That way I could see whether or not my mother was given basic consideration (CPR) and determine who went into her room and stole her jewelry while she was dying. Pitiful care for the weak and elderly. It's sickening.
