This place is terribly managed. They are under staffed and disorganized. Most of the day staff are good, but the 3-11 shift is awful, not enough supervision. There are issues almost every day with my loved one and his care, very stressful environment. The Director lied to me on one occasion and problems are swept under the rug. UPDATE: 8/20/19 a new DON has helped this place, I have much less complaints of care. Raising from 2 stars to 3 stars...still need improvement in care, therapy and activities

I worked for sims for over a year. I have worked at various nursing homes over the years and this one is one of the Best. The residents are well taken care of. You don't smell urine in the building. Everything is spotless, friendly staff, and vigilant in the welfare of the residents. I just wish other nursing homes in this town could follow the same protocol that this nursing home abides by.
