Orlando Lutheran Towers

If you're researching a place for yourself or your loved ones, please be aware that there is a construction project being proposed for 14 stories of affordable housing to the side of Windsor Place on 404 Mariposa that will entirely block sunshine and fresh air for residents there. Owners of Lutheran don't appear to be opposed so long as they can get parking spots for their employees as part of the project. Keep that in mind, when you place your mothers and fathers here- especially if they're with Alzheimers or under memory care. If approved, their windows will face a construction site for some time, then a parking garage. See below. Short building in the shadow is Windsor Place. Red building is the proposed project adjacent.

They simply DO NOT care for their patients! I have numerous negative things I could say about this place. The ONLY postive thing I could say about this place is that its cleaner than some other places. Though all I can tell you is to NOT put your loved one here!!! If your loved one does end up here please looked out for them regularly...cause they might end up like my grandmother (died with no attention from staff).

Orlando Lutheran Towers is the absolute worst nursing home facility that I know. The management at The Commons are terrible. After numerous complaints that went unattended regarding my mothers declining health, including several infections that she contracted from the facility, the lack of attentive care from the doctors, nurses, and dont even talk about the CNAs just plain rude, neglectful, and just plain lazy, weve decided to remove our loved one from that dreadful, foul smelling, terrible place. The CNAs and nurses pretty much allow dementia patients to tend to themselves with little to no aid. They also allow patients to go with their diapers unchanged for hours unattended. In addition, they dont really aid them in eating, and did I mention theyre rude. After complaining to Amy the head manager over all the floors, Kathy The Commons manager, and Michelle, the human resource manager, without any assistance or improvements regarding our familys concerns, weve decided to remove her from this awful facility. They lie and act as if they care about your concerns and do absolutely nothing about it to address the issues. They act as if theyre in cahoots with each other opposed to to addressing your concerns. Its just terrible regarding the lack of care at this place. I would advise anyone that actually care for their loved one to STAY AWAY, the conditions there along with the lack of care are just plain horrible.

I have been here less than 12 hours and it's horrible unprepared understaffed equipment faulty seems like most staff I've meet so far not well trained and that's not even past my room yet
