I was referred to North Star Senior Advisors by the social worker at Celebrations hospital. It was the start of the Shelter in Place in NYC which is where I live, and my family member, whom I needed help with placement was in a hospital in Orlando FL. The thought of not being able to be there in person to assist my love one was adding to my anxiety of the Co-vid Pandemic. The day that I was connected with North Star was my lucky day; Ignacio Quinones, placement advisor, was 'Heaven Sent'. He was empathetic, professional, thorough, and his follow through was exceptional. Exactly what I needed at a time when I could not focus on finding an appropriate place for my family member. We discussed my needs and concerns, and he got right on it! I am happy to say that my family member is currently living comfortably in a beautiful Assisted Living facility which Ignacio from North Star Senior Advisors obtained for us. North Star Seniors Advisors was extremely helpful in finding an Assisted Living Facility for our 96 year old mom. We were under a lot of stress with taking care of our mom while she was in the hospital and then rehabilitation facility, and then being told she needed full time care we didn't know where to start looking. We were told about North Star at the rehab and introduced to Ignacio Quinones, who immediately talked to us and listened to us about our mom's needs, and then talked to our mom about her concerns. We needed a place for her quickly. Ignacio found and make appointments for us to view and evaluate three different facilities. After we picked one of the facilities he showed us he made the arrangements for us to meet with the sales manager and took care of getting all the information we needed to get our mom a room and getting us all the paper work we needed to follow though with the transition for our mom. We are truly thankful for North Star's support, and continued support even now that our mom is comfortable in her room at the Assisted Living Facility Ignacio helped find for her. Professional and patient! I contacted Northstar SA to help us find an Assisted Living Facility for my mother-in-law. Patricia contacted us quickly, assessed our needs, and found a half dozen facilities for us to consider.
