Substandard drinking water conditions exist. Some of the homes have very little space between them, very little privacy. Lock your car at night and chain-up your golf cart, security issues. Nice location, not far from a beach or shopping. NOTE: Pelican Bay is now owned by Sun Communities, Southfield, Michigan.

Have been here since 2012 . Have had 5 wait 6 managers all play to a different tune ,we have a prospectus and rules that some residents are allowed to ignore and others must follow and then some! The water has been an issue since day one the Dep and health dept needed to get involved the pool is often over crowded and is basically a Roman bath very unclean ! If you need the truth dont ask management. Some residents dont need to maintain their homes or mow their lawns for some reason. So in short if you dont want to use the amenities and hide in your home then this is the place for you . There are a couple of park favorites that race there golf carts around drunk swearing if told to slow down. If youre a single woman good luck as there are a couple of Stalkers that are relentless.
