The first year was a transition for My mom... There have been several incidents over two year period. All of her necklaces she always wore never took off, missing. Heartbreaking..... No sign never to be found. She was told to take them off for shower and never saw them again hmmmm. The room ALWAYS smells like mold. Complained several times. Now dealing with an injury on both shins that I have mentioned before of course. Visited yesterday and if I didn't know better it is infected and spreading.....they said a nurse would be in to look at it. Called this am and talked to someone who obviously doesn't know her job. I was very concerned and told them I would take my mom to the ER myself and depending on diagnosis, would be relocating her. She responded with hanging up on me. This facility I'm afraid under 'new management' will become horrible like most of the other Brookdales. If you love your parents, find somewhere else that rates at least 4stars all Brookdales barely rate 3. GET IT TOGETHER BROOKDALE HIBISCUS! SO disappointed.

My grandparents just moved in. Very courteous, professional and friendly staff. From the initial tour to the actual move in to present, they have gone out of their way to make our loved ones feel welcome and at home. They have catered to their unique needs and daily lives. They have also made our family feel part of their wonderful community.
