Nice workers. They seem happy to be there and always smile and say hello when you pass them in the hall.

My mother now resides at Ashford Court since the beginning of December 2018. I have been trying to manage from afar (Utah) her living arrangements. Before the move she was in a Brookdale facility and very unhappy calling many times a day to ask me to get her into a new place. I found her prior residence very neglectful and uncaring . I was in a quandary as what to do. In November I toured several other facilities and did not have Ashford Court in mind or on the list. My mother's friend had moved to Ashford Court from Brookdale over the summer and we went for a visit. I knew when I walked in, this was the place. I , however , was concerned that it might not be affordable. Suzanne Simon , the sales and marketing director, spent a lot of time with us trying to make this work. She even helped find a local moving business who accomplished doing the entire move and setting up her cozy apartment to the last picture! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Communication is great here. The food is so much better ! The place is easy on the eye, fresh, and inviting. It comes alive with all the caring affectionate staff who work here. I went back to give a big 92nd birthday party for my mom and they gave me a private room at no cost. My mother had such a nice day! And her hair looked great- done at the facility's hair salon.

My husband who has Early Onset Alzheimers disease moved to the Embrace Memory Unit at Ashford Court at Marsh Landinfg in Jax beaches in May 2018. The staff are all wonderful and welcomed my husband with open arms. The Embrace Unit is run by the most compassionate loving woman named Mimi that I have ever met in my entire life. She treats each and every one of her patients with respect, dignity and loves each and every one of them like they were own family. She loves her job and it shows! The facility deserves to be acknowledged for their excellence and that is why I am sharing my experience. Please go out and visit and if you are visiting the Embrace Unit go meet Mimi.
