Arden Courts of Ft. Myers

I am super grateful to have Arden Courts in our network of resources for our aging population. Their time and attention to higher quality staff is beyond superb and even with obstacles, like coronavirus, they have exceeded many expectations. During this time they are acting very proactively to ensure safety for their residence, incoming residence, and staff. Due to the mandated limited visitations from families they have put procedures in place to help connect their residence with their families effectively. Their recent Here for You initiative as well thought out. No cutting corners with this community! Overall, job well done

When we had to move my mother to a memory care facility it was a difficult time for my family. We toured and spoke with many facilities and asked advice from friends and community members. Arden Courts came highly recommended and had the right answers when we spoke with them. No matter how great any LTC facility may seem, actually leaving your loved one there is nerve-wracking. The team at Arden Courts did a wonderful job of stepping up to the plate and alleviating our concerns.The programming and entertainment is wonderful and they truly make every effort to involve residents in activities, not just when they are new, but for the duration of their life there. I have watched countless times as the activities staff checked for residents in their rooms to encourage them to join the group, asked questions to engage, and took time to truly listen to what the residents have to say. They acknowledge that residents may miss their loved ones and help them with activities for their families, which is extra special. Also they always make sure to have activities that engage the mind and body, as well as keep spirits up. They always took time to ensure my mom was able to participate in music-based activities as music is her favorite thing currently. The caregiving team does a tremendous job of assisting the residents while allowing them to maintain their dignity. They assist residents calmly and do an exceptional job of using humor and redirection when necessary. They show compassion and kindness during difficult times. They also have helped to play detective when something is off with your resident and you have to figure out what is based on words or behaviors. The caregivers excel at a challenging job and take care of your loved one like they are their own family member. I am so grateful for them for the patience, grace, and comfort they provided my mom. The nursing staff is also amazing. My mom in particular had some challenges come up along the way and the team was so helpful in working well together to get to the root of what was going on. The communication was excellent (we got calls about anything and everything that may have happened - they even called to make sure I knew about a small scratch that I had accidentally caused!). The team made every effort to ensure all of the residents were comfortable, healthy (or as best as possible), and safe at all times. They are on top of just about everything they could be and I wish we still had this amazing team to work with (my mom recently moved to skilled nursing). They are extremely knowledgeable and were so willing to learn if there was something they didnt know about. They show grace under pressure, while being compassionate, caring, kind, and simply an amazing resource. The admin team, including kitchen, maintenance, and the cleaning staff, do a stellar job. The communication is on point. The food keeps the residents healthy and is nutritious (with lots of great snacks), and they will work with your resident to make sure they have them on the right type of food and are giving them things they will eat. Arden Courts is clean, the residents are well taken care of, and the entire staff is on the ball. This is a credit to each department, as well as the admin team. They respond kindly to inquiries, deal with lots of creative challenges, and ensure things continue to run smoothly for the residents and their families, regardless of whatever may be going on in the rest of the world (Hurricane, COVID, etc). Yes, this is a lengthy review, however its still not everything I could even begin to say about Arden Courts. Make no mistake, if your loved one is coming here there will likely be some bumps as that is simply how life goes with someone who has a memory impairment, however I cant think of anywhere else I wouldve wanted my mom to be. They took excellent care of her, and I have very high standards (the staff would probably agree). I would highly recommend Arden Courts to anyone considering a memory care facility for their loved one. They are, by far, THE BEST.

Look no further for the best and most qualified memory care facility in the Ft Myers area. This place is top notch all the way from the leaders to the care staff- activities personnel and kitchen staff. Theyre highly trained and qualified to take care of those specifically with Alzheimers/Dementia. They have a heart and passion for what they do. When shooing for a place for your loved one - be sure to look at how staff interacts with residents and that there are activities going on all day. Choose Arden Ct. youll be glad you did. I know I was.

I have met and worked with some wonderful people while at Arden Courts. I've witnessed some pretty amazing caregivers. They go above and beyond for our residents care.
