VFW Veterans Village

Great place to visit. Has some really great people working there. The Veterans that live there seem to be happy. The transportation driver takes them to their doctor appointments , takes them to Walmart once a week and even the dollars store if they need to go once a week.

They take good care of the veterans.

It is a shame that the reviews say such great things about the staff, but the management does not treat the staff with respect for the hard work they do from day to day. Instead they complain about minor things that the management does themselves. Next time you visit the Village in Fort McCoy, please let the staff know how much you appreciate them as the management does not do so.....thanks for all your support. Our veterans deserve our best, and the staff does so without acknowledgement from the management. lets make America Great again but just saying thank you to those who really deserve it...our vets and those who serve them proudly from day to day.Well today another member of the kitchen staff has quite due the lack of respect not only for them but the residents. It is a shame that the management does not treat them better. if you are looking to place yourself in the facility or work there, you may want to think twice. I wish those who are stilling living there and working there benefit from this post and the management wakes up and starts treating people like people. With the right to be spoken to and treated as a human being. Good luck keeping your staff as they are not going to take the abuse much longer.

My daughter, Rocki and I have nothing but good to say about the VFW Veteran's Village in Ft McCoy.We had very dear friends that we relocated to there.They have both since passed away, but they were so happy there. The gentleman made many friends while they were able to sit out under the patio. The staff were always kind and helpful. Plus we made many friends as well. Sweet residents. Thank you all.
