The Plaza at ParkSquare - Luxury Assisted Living

I am not the sort of individual that typically submits reviews. However, I have to take a moment to recognize the exceptional care my father is experiencing at Aventura Park Square. From the top down, the staff is attentive, caring, and professional. The food is top notch, medicines are administered precisely, and the environment is 5-star. In closing, let me add a personal thank you to Keith, Barry, and Lourna.

Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this Luxury Assisted Living! I moved my mother in about 1 month ago. After surviving her third cancer, and a major fall breaking her hip and femer bone, I KNEW it was time for someone else to take over and give her the daily care she needs and most of all deserves. We as children (or grown adults) try to do the needful but know it is way more than what we can handle. The stress of being a caretaker is overwhelming, stressful and this precious time with your loved ones should be joyous vs a constant worry.My mother was an independent savvy 80's lady living on her own just months prior. She was walking, driving and doing her regular day to day tasks until this horrible fall. As an indpendant woman moving into a new home, I must say it wasn't easy. I spent an entire week there trying to adjust and analyze if this was in fact the right decision. From the second we actually moved in, I was invited for lunch with Georgina (concierge) w mom.She was extremely helpful during the move-in process and IS a great asset to the company! She gave me the confidence in knowing mom was going to be fine, in short, I finally felt like i was able to move on from being the 'caretaker'.From the aides, to nurses, physical therapists, decor, food and I could go on, THIS PLACE IS A ONE OF A KIND FIND!!!!!!My mother is finally settling in. She is in better spirits and still has pain but they are on it and making sure she gets the much needed care she needs. Each detail is well thought out.Each tenant gets a necklace that so IF thy have an issue, a simple press of the button will trigger for an immediate response. This goes for whatever they might need (bathroom, shower, meds) Juts a click!!!!What I think will make this superior place even better is adding more daily activities.A busy mind keeps you occupied = HappierOVERALL- I AM SOOO happy We found this amazing home for mom!It's absolutely gorgeous! It's like living in a luxury high rise with all the assistance one could ask for!Thank you Barry, Georgina, Lourna, Keith and everyone that is there! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!I finally have a life again and feel 100% confident in everything that you do for my mother and every other tenant living there!What a blessing! We searched high and low for a great place for my father when he needed assisted living and The Plaza stood out from the pack. From them moment you enter it feels like a good hotel, nicely decorated, high ceilings, large and open spaces. To the right is a grand piano and a coffee/wine bar. Every day at 4 PM a musician comes to play as the residents gather for happy hour. My father never misses.The staff are professional, passionate and carrying from the leadership right down to the food servers. Everyone has a good attitude and you get the feeling that less than that would not be tolerated.My favorite character is Barry Gar. He's been in the assisted living profession his entire career and his passion and knowledge, i believe, is the reason this place is so successful. He's a consummate professional, extremely approachable and always has a bright eyes and a smile on his face. When we were furnishing my father's unit, he gave us lots of great advice to make the place practical and safe. Whatever our needs have been Barry has helped us arrange them with good results. My father's assistants could not be nicer or better.Keith, the general manager, is also one of the nicest people you can meet. He's always around to help.Overall, we could not be happier with the Plaza. My father was one of the first guests when it opened in the fall of 2018 and now the community has filled in, it's only gotten better.

My mother in law has been a resident here now for a few months. She has settled in so well and is in a safe any caring environment. Today my wife and I were here for a regular visit. The staff here is so special. Outgoing and so warm to everyone. This is a real five star place for sure.
