Do NOT move here! A storm comes along...knocks down a tree that has been rotten for years...hits your house and the management doesn't care! It should be the PARK'S responsibility NOT the homeowner's. You pay RENT on said property and the trees belong to the PARK NOT the homeowner!! Negligent park owners/management! Despite the renter's voiced concerns regarding the rotten trees they were allowed to remain until the storm brought them crashing into the roof!!! I smell a lawsuit! Worst management EVER! RUN THE OTHER WAY!

I have had my home since 2008 and have lived here full time since 2011. Comparing the ground rent of Whispering Pines to that of many other places, WP's is much lower. Yes, the rent does go up approximately $10-$20 a year... however, increased prices are an unfortunate consequence of life. The person who bought the land was a genius. It appears that while the land is being rented, the responsibility of everything (minus lawn mowing) is the responsibility of the homeowner. The pool is excellent and the office staff are professional and welcoming.
