I worked there in the late 90's. I was in laundry but on numerous occasions I would have to help the residents because they were left in the halls in hot clothes, or on the toilet for long periods of time. I was a single mother of a 2 yr old at the time. I coworker flipped out on me and hit me twice, I immediately reported it to my head supervisor Sandy. I was sent home. I lost my job 2 days before Christmas because the lady that hit me was a minority. A few weeks later I heard (by coworkers) that she hit a supervisor but still kept her job. She was just transferred to a different department. The whole situation still bothers me. I hope I die before ever being placed in a facility like this.
