Hover Manor Senior Apartments

The Hover Greenhouse Skilled Nursing facility opened in September 2019. My husband lived there for a few weeks before his death. I wish he could have been there longer. Their concept of care is new and very home like. Their staff is caring and loving and I would recommend the facility for your loved ones.

I have worked for Hover Community for 7 years. Its a pleasure to work with such hard working people. We have a wonderful team who always put the residents first! We have fun activities and outings. A cafe that is served like a restaurant, with a full menu! Transportation that is wheelchair accessible. Hover at Home Services that can help the residents with laundry and cleaning. Hover is one of few, affordable living options for seniors in Longmont. Hover is a hidden gem in Longmont! I encourage anyone looking for a home for their loved one to come into Hover, take a tour and see for yourself!!

I couldn't be happier knowing my loved one is in Hover Manor, Independent Living. I have experienced the changes that have occurred over the past 10 years. The staff have been WONDERFUL! Yes, there have been times they are short staffed, as with any place, but they have done an amazing job of compensating and are truly caring individuals. The rooms are very nice -spacious, clean and modern, and there is a cord that can be pulled in the bedroom or bathroom that gives an added sense of security. The rooms may not be 'luxurious', but the VALUE more than compensates . There are Many activities - book club, Wii Golf, Bridge, Dominoes, Pinochle, crafts, Discovery group, Bingo, Exercise...that is just a drop in the bucket. They have monthly meetings to keep communication open with the residents and provide a very reasonably priced van and bus to take residents to the grocery, doctor appointments, etc. There has been a challenge in the kitchen with recent turnovers... but the staff jumped in and did a great job for being so short staffed. They are back up to full staff now. They have a daily 'special', but residents also have a menu with lots of alternatives to choose from. I feel there is an effort to provide healthy meals with variety. I know they have added additional washers/dryers on the main floor, and are available 7 days a week. The staff continue to work at making improvements while trying to keep the cost reasonable. I would give Hover Manor 6 stars if I could....
