No staff was around and another patient beat up my late father suffering Alzheimer's. His leg was shattered and he had a steel rod in his femur. The other dementia patient beat him so badly and for so long that it was obvious no staff was present for a long period of time. The staff tried saying he fell and their stories changed repeatedly. My dad died in immense pain and couldnt communicate with us. My heart is broken to this day, we trusted them with his care and he was rarely bathed. I went to see him one day and had to bathe him myself and there wasnt so much as a bar of soap available to me. This facility should absolutely be shut down. It is unsanitary, absolutely reeks when you walk in the door and dementia/Alzheimer's patients have often been able to get out and go wandering for hours. The staff doesnt inform the families when this happens. I just can't even go on because Chateau de Mons ripped my heart out.

Making the decision to place a loved one in assisted living is so hard. We battled with this for years as we tried to care for my mother at home. Moving her into Chateau has been one of the best decisions for both of us. Caring staff and enriching activities are among the reasons we chose chateau. My mom enjoys being here and is living a more fulfilled life than she could with us at home.

We just saw a group of your clients out for an outing. Your clients looked so well put together and so sweet. The staff you had accompanying them were so kind and good with them. I had my dog with me, and your clients were just so overjoyed to see her. I want to work here now.

Poor management has made this facility sub par in their care of the residents. New management and staff is much needed.
