Honestly, if I could give this post office zero stars I would. As a resident of Buena Vista I have had countless miss deliveries, countless packages unable to be delivered and sent back to sender and its not like they even have to deliver to my house, because our neiborhood has a kiosk! Honestly this is a poor excuse of a post office and white how long they have been having issues (years) they should have a fox for it by now.

I've never had any bad experiences from this post office and I've lived here almost 60 years. Yes it is a small town which means you might have to wait a while longer for the big city conveniences to come to us, but part of the price you pay for living in a rural area. As far as unfriendly? I have never been treated unfriendly in this post office. All of the employees call me by name, with a smile. Yes they are understaffed and tired, but never unfriendly. Maybe folks need to be a little friendlier towards them. When you come into their office and see 6 people in front of you, maybe it's been like that for them all day. Try to be a little more patient and understanding. Their busiest time is your busiest time. They have to deal with a lot of people who are far less prepared than you are. They are doing a great job. As far as their delivery drivers, remember these are contract employees who may not know the route and have to wing it from day to day to get it right. They generally get better with experience. So try to be a little more patient. That's why we love the small town. It moves a little slower. Get used to it or move back to the fast moving big city. Thank you very much!
