I would not trust Morningstar to provide assistance to a senior who needs anything more than laundry, meals and room cleaning. My husband lived there with full time private caregivers, and it was a constant struggle to get Morningstar to provide the few services he needed from them. Medications were delivered incorrectly, food was often delivered late or not at all, calls for assistance with transfers went unanswered. I cant imagine what it would be like for a resident who didnt have a full time advocate to ensure that the staff did its job. Turnover at the management level was high, so there was little accountability for problems. Im so glad to be done with this facility.

BAD MANAGEMENTPlease do not consider this facility if your love ones cannot assist in taking care of themselves. If they need assistance in feeding themselves, bathing, putting clothes on or off, we discovered that most of the staff was not caring enough to reassure the family that they could/would keep our father safe or comfortable. The night shift was terrible; they were rude, condescending, and dismissive; and they were not held accountable when issues were brought to the attention of the managers. The managers were dismissive when we brought issues to their attention, and did not follow their own directives in notifying the family of falls or other medical issues. Their initial presentation to family to consider their facility was wonderful; but please don't believe that they can deliver. We are devastated that we considered and decided on this facility.

Morning star is a great place to work! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Management really listens to what we have to say and does everything they can to help us deal with any problems we have!
