My Memory Care Mother has been there since last March after 3 years with CGs in her home. Recent management and nursing change has been problematic which has created frustrating service. Management blames 'miscommunication' and not their intent to create hardship for family. Rhetoric over and over has not calmed the frustration to Trust. Three months of aggravation! This being said, caregivers and medical technicians are caring, dedicated and attentive but erroneously directed by administration. Update: Feb/2020, circumstances calming down, no new mishaps. Nothing from corporate.Interesting Corporate response? I pay you $8k monthly and you cannot spare the time to contact me.

We moved my mother-in-law in this past spring. She has been very happy. When my mother saw it, she wanted to move in also. Just finished getting her settled. Staff is exceptionally helpful and made the transition for both moms a positive experience. Five stars isn't enough.

My mother is a newer resident here. Before she came to Brookdale Brookhurst, she lived alone with a part-time caregiver. She is much happier now that she is with her new friends and amazing 24/7 staff at Brookdale Brookhurst. The staff sincerely care for their residents - they are attentive, kind and professional. I can rest assure that my mom is being take care of by the staff with her daily medicines, meals, good hygiene and fun activities. Brookdale Brookhurst is truly a gem for assisted living facilities in Orange County.

I would consider any other facility then this one. They do not like to call the family back. My mother was in this facility for 5 and half years. Her care was adequate so I never moved her. The staff needs to look at the patience charts before they make decisions. My mother was sent to a hospital while on hospice and now that she has passed I am being sent to collections for a bill I never received in a ten month period. They are not returning my calls. The staff could send me her monthly bill but not send me a bill from the hospital. Since it was there mistake they stated they would take care of any charges at the time, but now they are not responding
