My mother in law is a resident at Regency Grand in West Covina. They have made her to be a 'shut-in' for the past 3 months with no end in sight. She pays $3600/mo for a studio apartment there. She is not aloud to leave or have visitors and they have closed the dinning room and all activities. She is getting week and lonely. She has expressed to me that she is ready to die. How long can they deprive her of her right to go in and out freely? This is not a convalescent home. This is an assisted living home. if she is not co-mingling with the other residence, why should she be deprived of visiting her children in her old age with no end in sight.

Joseph McDowellMy mother has been at Regency Grand memory care for 10 years. She goes by the name of Grandma and Regency Grand is her home. During her active years she has enjoyed daily walks in the gardens, weekly outings at local restaurants which I would sometimes see her group, visits to museums and local amusement events for seniors. Life at Regency Grand with all the amenities and group workshops can be compared to living at Hilton or Wyndham vacation resort. My mom is now under hospice care and the people and staff are great in seeing her needs. I am my grateful to the people and staff for all years of help with my Mom. I would recommend Regency Grand to everyone for the care of their aging parents.

My mom began at assisted living at Regency Grand and is now in memory care there. It is very comforting to have a place for mom where I know she is getting the best of care and she has adapted very well. The staff is very attentive and notifies me of any changes in moms health or behavior. If you are looking for a place for a lived one, call Regency Grand and ask for a tour. You will not regret it!
